Unlike strict diets, fibermaxxing is not about cutting foods, but about adding more fiber to every meal. How? By creating main dishes and snacks from high-fiber ingredients

such as vegetables, fruits, legumes, seeds, and whole grains. Examples include adding chia seeds to smoothies, avocado to scrambled eggs, or roasted chickpeas to salads.

 

Fiber has two main types: soluble fiber, which helps control blood sugar, cholesterol, and digestion (found in oats, apples, avocados, and peas), and insoluble fiber, which

acts like a natural broom for the intestines to promote regular bowel movements (found in fruit skins, leafy greens, and whole grains). Both are equally important, so varying fiber sources is the key.

 

The benefits of fibermaxxing range from stabilizing blood sugar, supporting heart health, improving digestion, to keeping you full longer. Many nutrition experts agree this

trend is safe if done correctly: increase fiber gradually and drink enough water to avoid bloating or digestive discomfort.
