WOMEN'S REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH EXAMINATION

Maintaining reproductive health is important for women, because this reproductive organ has a big role in sexual relations, egg production and development, menstruation, pregnancy, and
childbirth.

Laboratory tests for the health of female reproductive organs:

A. Cervical Cancer:
Recommended examinations include:
▪︎ Papsmear:
The examination is done by collecting a sample of cells from the cervix to see if there is one
whether or not abnormalities that can lead to cervical cancer.
▪︎ HPV DNA:
examination of genetic material (DNA) Human Papilloma Virus on cervical cells.

B. OVARIUM CANCER,
To detect early laboratory tests such as:
⊙ Tumor markers (CA-125 and HE4): The combination of CA-125 and HE4 has high specificity and sensitivity as a preoperative tumor marker for differentiating benign ovarian tumors from ovarian cancer.

⊙ ROMA (Risk of Ovarian Malignancy Algorithm) test is a combination formula of CA125 & HE4 examination used to determine the risk of malignancy in patients with pelvic masses.

⊙ C. AMMENORHEA:
Laboratory examinations are required including: LH, FSH, prolactin, estradiol and TSH examinations, to see any menstrual cycle disorders.

⊙ D. INFERTILITY EXAMINATION:
Laboratory tests are recommended, including FSH, LH, Prolactin and Progesterone.

PATIENT PREPARATION AND EXAMINATION INGREDIENTS

~ No special preparations
~ The examination material is a blood sample from a vein
~ Especially for Pap smear and HPV DNA examinations, the requirements for the examination are at least 3 days before the test is not to have sexual intercourse, do not use tampons, do not use vaginal cleansing creams or soap and are not menstruating.
