The Importance of Good Sleep for Millennials

Mon, 30 May 2022

Millennials have their own opinion about sleep quality. Compared to previous generations, they consider sleep more important.

While millennials are less likely to have a regular sleep schedule than other generations (38% vs 47% aged 25 and over), on average they sleep more each night than any other age group.

The average millennial sleep time is longer, which is about 7.2 hours , compared to the age group of 25 years and over, which is around 6.9 hours. In fact, the research revealed that millennials feel more guilty when they don't regularly maintain their sleeping habits, around 35%, while only 26% of those aged 35 years and over regret not getting enough sleep. Therefore, 86% of millennials are trying to improve their sleep patterns. This figure is still above those aged 25 years and over who only 75 percent are trying to improve sleep.
