Teach Tooth Brushing In Children From an Early Age
Thu, 8 Dec 2022Cleaning the surface of the teeth (toothbrush) is an attempt to remove food residue that is easily fermented which will result in a decrease in the number of bacteria in the oral cavity due to the loss of energy needed by the bacteria to produce acid products that destroy teeth.
Toothbrushing should be part of the child's learning process, as children are accustomed to bathing, dressing cleanly and washing hands before eating. This is what causes the need for parents to teach cleaning the oral cavity, especially toothbrushes, from an early age. Tooth brushing itself is done when the first tooth grows in the child's oral cavity, but getting used to cleaning the child's oral cavity has been done since the child was born.
This cleaning must be continued and when the teeth have appeared in the oral cavity, the use of a real toothbrush to clean teeth becomes a routine obligation that must be carried out by children.
