For prenatal screening or preparing for pregnancy properly, it is necessary to carry out laboratory tests, including:

Complete hematology
A complete hematology examination is carried out to detect certain health disorders that can affect the condition of blood cells, such as infection, anemia and leukemia.

HBsAg

Blood group
Blood group check is a test procedure to find out what type of blood you have. Your blood type is determined by the genes you pass on from your parents.

G6PD
Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency is a hereditary disease caused by a deficiency of the enzyme G6PD. This disease is more common in boys.

TSH
TSHs examination is a measurement of Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) levels in the blood, and can be used to assess thyroid function. TSH serves to stimulate the secretion of thyroid hormone which is very important for the body.

PATIENT PREPARATION AND SAMPLE EXAMINATION

Prenatal examination is an examination using blood samples taken from veins and urine.

For this examination, no special preparation is needed, the patient also does not need to fast, but it is recommended to do the examination in the morning when there is no activity so that hormone levels are not disturbed.
