Pre Covid-19 Vaccination Examination

Prior to vaccination, it is suggested we had a medical examination date. With the latest medical check-up, we can know what state of health before vaccination. According to the recommendation PAPDI (Association of Specialist Doctors) in patients with certain chronic diseases, there are conditions do not deserve to be given the vaccine COVID-19 such as:
• Allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis and severe allergic reactions as a result of vaccine doses COVID-19 first or the result of the same component contained in the vaccine COVID-19.
• Individuals who are experiencing an acute infection.
• Individuals with primary immunodeficiency diseases.
Type - the type of laboratory tests recommended before vaccination Covid 19 are as follows:
a) Complete Hematology
The goal is to know the basic components of erythrocytes, leukocytes, platelets. The benefits of this examination to evaluate anemia, leukemia, bacterial infections, viral parasites and the possibility of allergies, polycythemia, the possibility of bleeding disorders and the risk of inflammation seen from the LEDs.
b) Liver Function
Liver function tests are tests to determine the condition of the liver. This check is done by checking levels of enzymes and proteins found in blood samples, with the aim of including the following:
• Detect and monitor the progression of liver disease, such as hepatitis.
• Assess the effectiveness of treatment and monitor side effects that may occur.

c) Renal Function
Examination of kidney function is a procedure to determine how well the kidneys work. Kidney examination also aims to detect disturbances in the organ. Kidney has a variety of important roles for the body, one of which is to filter out and dispose of waste products from the blood.
d) Fasting Blood Sugar
Glucose tests can be performed either for screening, diagnosis or monitoring of disease progression DM. Fasting glucose tests only reflects glucose levels at the time of inspection.
e) HbA1c
This blood test is performed to determine the average level of blood sugar in the last 2-3 months. This test measures the percentage of blood sugar attached to hemoglobin (Hb). HbA1c can be done to diagnose diabetes, as well as to determine whether or not control blood sugar levels of diabetics.
f) X-ray Thorax
Chest X-ray / thorax is inspection using electromagnetic wave radiation in order to display the picture of the inside of the chest. Through chest X-rays, visible picture of the heart, lungs, respiratory tract, blood vessels and lymph nodes. Chest X-rays can also show the spine and chest, including the breast bone, ribs, collarbone and upper spine.
g) ECG
Electrocardiogram (ECG) examination is to measure and record the heart's electrical activity. ECG is generally performed to check for heart conditions and assess the effectiveness of the treatment of heart disease.
For pre-vaccination examination Covid 19 need to pay attention to prepare the patient before, that required fasting approximately 8-12 hours earlier, adequate rest and not do overactivity. Materials required inspection or sample is blood taken from a vein.
