OBESITY AND BLOOD VESSEL DISEASE

Various problems that occur in blood vessels are caused by unhealthy diet and lifestyle. The circulatory system consists of organs, blood, and blood vessels network.
The organs and blood vessels are responsible for circulating blood that contains, nutrients, oxygen, hormones and other gases to the cells.
Currently obesity is the most common metabolic disease along with lifestyle changes. Obesity ranks first worldwide. Data from the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that more than 1 billion people are overweight and 300 million of them are classified as obese. In Indonesia, there is an increase in the occurence of obesity from year to year. Therefore obesity has become an epidemic problem throughout the world and developing countries such as Indonesia.
Overweight and obesity rank the fifth cause of death worldwide, and become a major risk for a number of comorbidities, one of which is the occurence of heart and blood vessel disease (cardiovascular disease) in obesity cases.
How to Prevent Obesity
There are several ways you can do to prevent obesity that can be done:
- Stop eating before you feel full.
- Avoid consuming snacks, but replace these snacks with fruits and vegetables so as not to eliminate this hobby.
