Medical Check Up is a series of health checks that aim to determine an early diagnosis, prevent a disease and to determine a person's health status.
Most of the people tend to delay health checks when they are sick. Whereas delaying a health check can be the beginning of the development of the disease and of course it can worsen the health of the body.

The purpose of regular medical check-ups:
• For primary prevention
• To identify common chronic disease risk factors
• To detect diseases that have obvious symptoms (secondary prevention)
• To update clinical data since the last examination.
What checks can be done:

1. Cholesterol and Blood Sugar Check
Examination is done to determine blood sugar levels and cholesterol in the body. This is related to the incidence of diseases such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes and stroke.
2. Kidney Function Examination
There are 4 (four) types of examinations to check kidney function:
• Urea or blood urea nitrogen (BUN).
This test is used to determine the level of urea nitrogen in the blood which is a residue of protein metabolism.
• Urine test.
The content of protein and blood in the urine can indicate a decrease in kidney function. Well, urine tests can be used to detect protein and blood.
• Glomerular Filtration Rate.
The purpose of this examination is to see the ability of the kidneys to filter out metabolic waste substances in the body.
• Blood creatinine.
While the creatinine test, serves to determine the level of creatinine in the blood. Creatinine is a waste product of muscle breakdown that will be excreted through the kidneys. High creatinine levels in the blood can be a sign of kidney problems.

3. Liver Function Check
The purpose of liver function tests is to detect and monitor the progress of liver disease, assess effectiveness, monitor side effects of treatment and check how severe the damage is to the liver.
4. Radiological Examination
Some conditions that are known through radiological examinations are cancer, tumors, heart disease, stroke, lung disorders, disorders of the bones or joints.
5. ECG Check
To observe all conditions of the heart, including its structure and function.
6. Blood Pressure Check
Blood pressure checks are carried out to read symptoms of a dangerous condition with blood pressure, such as hypertension.
