How to Look Beautiful While Eid ul Fitr
Fri, 14 Apr 2023Eid-ul-Fitr is the reward for Muslims who observe Ramadan with religious enthusiasm.
This is a joyful and festive occasion. It may come as a bit of a surprise to learn how much fun Eid is. In our conversation today, we talk about the festivities surrounding Eid-ul-Fitr. As Eid-ul-Fitr 2023 approaches, all Muslims out there had better read this!
Another element of Eid preparations is visiting family. Determining which relative's home needs to be visited on Eid days requires careful consideration. Remember to take care of your skin as you prepare new outfits and footwear. In honor of Eid ul Fitr, it must appear lovely.
You will be exposed to the sun while visiting family. Consuming lycopene-rich meals will help prevent sunburn on the skin. The carotenoid family of antioxidants includes lycopene. Your body is shielded by antioxidants from harm brought on by substances known as free radicals.
Moreover, lycopene seems to provide some defense against the sun's damaging effects.
Participants in a brief 12-week research were exposed to UV rays before and after taking either a placebo or 16 mg of tomato paste-derived lycopene. The UV exposure caused less severe skin responses in the tomato paste group of participants.
Another 12-week trial found that daily lycopene intake of 8–16 mg, obtained from food or supplements, reduced skin redness after UV exposure by 40–50%.
In this study, supplements providing a mix of lycopene and other carotenoids were more effective against UV damage than those providing lycopene alone
Yet, lycopene’s protection against UV damage is limited and not considered a good replacement for using sunscreen.
A small amount of lycopene is present in all organic foods that are vibrantly colored pink to red.
Tomatoes are the biggest food source, and the riper the tomato, the more lycopene it contains.
There is currently no recommended daily intake for lycopene. However, from the current studies, intakes between 8–21 mg per day appear to be most beneficial.
