Fasting has health benefits for those who practice it, including for children who have learned to fast from an early age.

But apparently, not only physical health benefits can be felt when teaching children fasting. Fasting is also beneficial for mental and spiritual health. Therefore, there is nothing wrong with teaching children to fast from an early age. Here are a number of benefits of fasting, if parents teach children to fast from an early age:

1. Children Become More Patient and Appreciate time

This educates children to become more patient individuals and also respect time. For example, at dawn, children will appreciate time more by not being lazy to wake up so they can run suhoor.
