On October 5, 2024, PRAMITA Medical and Clinical Laboratory in Medan, in collaboration with the Down Syndrome Family Community Foundation (KOMBUR DS), held a seminar titled "Early Detection of Congenital Heart Defects and Thyroid Disorders in Children with Down Syndrome."

The seminar took place in the Hall on the 5th floor of the PRAMITA Branch Building on Wahid Hasyim Street in Medan, attended by 60 children with Down Syndrome and 30 accompanying members of KOMBUR DS.

Present at the seminar were the Chairperson of KOMBUR DS Medan, Mrs. Mastuana Sari, S.St., and Mr. Ibrahim Ichsan Harahap, S.Sos. (a representative from the Social Service of North Sumatra Province), who gave opening remarks.

The seminar featured speakers Dr. Siska Mayasari Lubis, M.Ked (Ped), Sp.A(K), and Dr. Muhammad Ali, Sp.A(K), who presented on the topic: "Early Detection of Congenital Heart Defects and Thyroid Disorders in Children with Down Syndrome."

This seminar was held in celebration of the 37th Anniversary of PRAMITA and the 1st Anniversary of KOMBUR DS in Medan.
